Mediation of conflicts in workplace contexts (so-called corporate mediation) Corporate mediation is a collaborative and voluntary conflict resolution process that uses a neutral third party to help parties find solutions that suit their interests and those of the organization. Over 90% of the top 1,000 US companies said they used mediation to improve the business climate and save time and resources. Conflict at work can in fact cause psychological problems and negatively affect work performance, but company mediation is an effective tool to prevent these problems, especially in cases of vertical conflict between employees of different company positions.
